Humanity Launch is an organization  about  creating a good school  culture. It is about creating a better school environment for students and faculty. On Feb. 7 they came to the school  and gave  two presentations, one to  the high school students and one to the middle school students. The presentation  consisted of fun dances, stories, and group bonding. It  gave  each student a chance to  open up to  their  peers, get  to know someone   they don’t  usually  talk to, and learn something about them. Junior Tessa  J.  said, “I  learned that I should reach out to more people and be more kind, you  can always learn something new about someone you don’t know.” Getting to know someone new  seems scary but students learned that it’s  worth  it  and not as big of a task as they thought.

Many students found this presentation to be  different and  a unique experience, unlike many other  assemblies  normally  held. Senior Sydnie P. stated, “I   like  how  it  wasn’t like  every other  assembly and how it was one  on one with other people.” Overall, this  different assembly seemed to have a lasting  impact on  students.
