This week's Lead Deadwood Elementary Shining Light was presented to Sylvia Trentz by Val Minihan.
"Sylvia has a heart filled with love and compassion for the students as well as staff members of Lead-Deadwood Elementary School! Her calm, reassuring nature helps students regain their composure by giving them positive ways to express their feelings or release energy and move on with their day productively. Congratulations, Sylvia! Thank you for your example of treating others with kindness and compassion and having a zest for knowledge."
