Every fall LDSD provides flu shots free of charge to any student signed up to receive one. Flu shots will be given on October 23rd. All permission forms must be returned to the school by October 2nd.

During the week of November 16, Lead-Deadwood School District students will have the opportunity to make live radio contact with an astronaut aboard the International Space Station through the ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station) program.
ARISS gives students around the world the chance to speak directly with astronauts in space using amateur radio. During our contact, students will ask questions live while the ISS passes overhead, giving us just a few unforgettable minutes to connect our community with space.
This is an especially exciting milestone because it will be South Dakota’s first contact with the International Space Station through the ARISS program.
We will not know the exact date and time of the contact until approximately one week beforehand, so stay tuned as we get closer!

You may access the portal from the school website – “Menu - Students/Parents – Student/Parent Campus Portal - Campus Parent”. Enter your username and password. Click the "More" button on the left and choose "Annual Update".
