The LD School District will follow the latest recommendation of Governor Noem to keep all schools closed until May 1. All activities are either cancelled or postponed until further notice. We will be letting you all know what is cancelled and what is postponed. Thank you.

The Lead-Deadwood Elementary School is distributing learning packets today, March 20.
Packets are available for pick up in the elementary school lunchroom at the following times:
PreK 8:00-9:00
K 9:00-10:00
1 10:00-11:00
2 11:00-12:00
3 12:00-1:00
4 1:00-2:00
5 2:00-3:00
We ask that only 1 person per household attends to pick up items, so that we do not create a larger gathering. Please enter and exit the elementary building through the Kindergarten doors.

If you will be picking up Grab and Go Lunches next week and have not completed the survey, please complete it before Friday at 8am. This will help ensure we have enough meals prepared for everyone. Thank you.

The Salvation Army of Spearfish and Deadwood Elks Lodge #508 will have 150 boxes of non-perishable food items for pick up on Saturday March 21 starting at 9:30am at the VFW in Deadwood. First come first serve for those in need. Thank you.

All enrolled students in the L-D School District will be given a free breakfast and lunch beginning 3-23-20. Meals will be distributed at the HS outside the cafeteria door from 10am-11am. To help us estimate how many meals, please complete this survey.

The Lead-Deadwood Elementary School Kindergarten screening schedule for March 20th is postponed until further notice.

All school activities, as well as practices are canceled for the week of March 16-20 as well.

This is Lead-Deadwood Elementary School Principal Tim Kosters. The Lead-Deadwood Schools will be following Governor Kristin Noem's recommendation to close schools for the week of March 16-20.
