She holds her students to the expectations of being good listeners, participating in class, coming up with solutions, and understanding why it is important to be a life learner. Thank you for your dedication and hard work you give to this school.”

Lead- Deadwood School District will be offering FREE flu shots to students this year on Friday, October 27th. The child must be enrolled in a Lead-Deadwood School, grades K-12. We WILL NOT administer the flu vaccine to ANY student if paperwork is not filled out completely. Hopefully through this effort we will be able to decrease the number of absences due to illness throughout our district. Please fill out consent form, and return it to the school by Friday, September 22nd if you would like your student to receive a flu shot. The school WILL NOT give the shot if all forms are not filled out COMPLETELY and signed by a parent/guardian. Late paperwork will not be accepted. Consent forms are available for viewing and printing on the School Nurse webpage, https://www.lead-deadwood.k12.sd.us/page/ldsd-nurses-corner or downloaded at https://5il.co/24580. You may also pick up a form at the front office of the school. If you have further questions, please contact the school nurse.
